Web multitool guide
How to use notes, Clipboard, missions, manuals, clocks, calculators, and more in one workspace
Navy Multitool is a web multitool that lets you place notes, Clipboard items, Daily Missions, calculators, manuals, world clocks, unit tools, contacts, and feedback cards on one canvas. Instead of switching between small apps, you can arrange tool cards where you need them and move around with drag, zoom, search, bookmarks, and an expanded canvas view.
What you can do with Navy Multitool
Canvas workspace
Place tool cards freely instead of stacking them in a single column. Keep notes, missions, manuals, clocks, and reusable text near the work they support.
Guest use and account storage
You can try the app without logging in. Creating an account saves your tool cards and data to the database for continued use.
Fast navigation for many tool cards
Use the Canvas tab, search mode, minimap, favorites, bookmarks, and hide controls to manage a large workspace without losing track of important cards.
Share and communicate
Add contacts by username, share read-only snapshots of tool cards, request small missions from contacts, and send anonymous feedback to the app admin.
Personalize the workspace
Use header preferences to hide titles, compact tool lists, colorize card outlines, expand the canvas, enable a raised calculator style, and choose lively canvas themes such as Husky or Jellyfish.
Basic workflow
- Add toolsChoose Daily Missions, Clipboard, Note, Calculator, Manual, World Clock, Unit Converter, Unit Reference, Expiring Memo, Feedback, Icon Tool, and other tools from the tool shelf.
- Arrange tools on the canvasDrag a tool card by its empty area to move it. Use the mouse wheel to zoom the canvas in and out.
- Name and organize tool cardsGive each tool card a clear name such as Morning missions, Reply templates, or Shopping memo.
- Manage tool cards from the Canvas tabUse the Canvas tab to find visible and hidden tool cards, restore hidden cards, search titles and card content, and jump to the tool you need.
- Favorite and bookmark important cardsStar important tool cards. Favorite cards appear higher in the Canvas list, and the Bookmark view in the canvas header helps you jump directly to favorite cards by tool type.
- Use expanded view when a card needs roomOpen a tool card in the enlarged view when you want more space for long notes, manuals, unit conversions, or world clock lists. You can still edit supported cards in the enlarged view.
- Share a snapshotUse the share action on a tool card to send a read-only snapshot to a contact. The recipient can accept it from notifications and place it on their own canvas.
How each tool works
Use it as a memo app
The Note tool is useful for short ideas, working notes, and meeting drafts. It autosaves while you type.
- Start writing as soon as an idea appears
- Collect notes and checks while working
- Create multiple notes for different purposes
Save frequent text in Clipboard
Clipboard stores repeated text such as email templates, commands, URLs, and support replies for one-click copy.
- Register commands and reusable phrases
- Click saved text to copy it
- Sort recently copied or edited items first
Turn tasks into Daily Missions
Daily Missions is designed for light, low-pressure tasks. Choose a category, available time, and mood, then receive small mission ideas. With contacts, you can also wait for someone else to choose a mission for you.
- Create small missions for study, exercise, chores, or daily life
- Ask contacts to send a mission when you want outside motivation
- Complete a mission without the app blaming you for unfinished items
Calculate with the calculator
Calculator is a simple four-operation calculator for quick work. Active calculators also support short hover input.
- Do simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Copy results from history
- Place a calculator near related notes or Daily Missions
Connect with Contact
Contact lets you search users by username, keep a contact list, share tool card snapshots, and review sharing history.
- Create a username in settings
- Search users from the Contact tool
- Open a contact detail view to see profile basics and shared snapshots
Write branching manuals
Manual helps you write step-by-step procedures that can branch by condition, similar to a simple sequence guide with tabs for different paths.
- Add procedure steps vertically
- Create branch tabs for different conditions
- Use the enlarged view for long procedures
Check time around the world
World Clock lets you search supported cities in English and keep a compact list of current times.
- Add cities such as Tokyo, London, or New York
- Filter available cities from the city pill list
- Use flag-style backgrounds to recognize locations quickly
Convert and compare units
Unit Converter converts values between compatible units, while Unit Reference shows a quick table of related units from a chosen base unit.
- Convert length, weight, area, temperature, and other unit groups
- Keep a short conversion history
- Click a unit in Unit Reference to make it the new base
Train with Flash Mental Math
Flash Mental Math is a small game for practicing quick addition. Levels increase automatically after correct answers and record the time needed to reach each level.
- Start from easy one-digit questions
- Use Enter to submit answers while playing
- Track level reach times up to the full-clear screen
Write temporary notes with Expiring Memo
Expiring Memo is for notes that should disappear automatically after a chosen time.
- Create multiple temporary memo blocks
- Choose durations from one minute to one day
- Reset the countdown when you change the duration
Send feedback from inside the app
Feedback lets you send anonymous comments, bug reports, and requests. You can choose labels such as tools, system areas, or feature requests.
- Save unsent drafts in the feedback card
- Submit feedback anonymously
- Cancel a submission or remove it from your card later
Copy emoji and icon tokens
Icon Tool collects common emoji and app icon tokens so you can copy them into places such as announcements.
- Browse emoji and app icons in separate blocks
- Click an item to copy it
- Use icon tokens in announcement content
Use notices and canvas themes
The header can show app notices managed by admins. Canvas themes add light decorative motion, such as a Husky or Jellyfish layer, while keeping tool cards usable.
- Hover notice dots in the header to read active announcements
- Choose available lively canvas themes from the canvas header
- Keep tool interactions separate from decorative layers
